Working Hours & Fees

A full working day usually comprises up to 8 hours (up to 10 hours for film productions), including preparation such as make-up, styling, or rehearsals. Half days last 4 hours. Overtime, expenses, and usage rights are defined in advance and confirmed in writing.

Weather Bookings

If a shoot is weather-dependent, this should be discussed with the agency in advance. A one-time postponement is usually possible, provided that notice is given at least two working days before the booked date. If expenses or vacation costs have already been incurred, these can be passed on.

Styling & Wardrobe

Models should bring suitable wardrobe with them if possible, but are not obliged to provide clothing or styling themselves. If you have any special wishes or requirements, it is advisable to discuss these with the agency in advance so that they can be organized without any complications.

Rights Of Use & Terms

The agreed rights of use apply from the start of the campaign or at the latest two months after the shoot. If publication is to take place later or have a longer term, this must be agreed in advance with the agency and taken into account in the buyout of the rights of use. Extensions of rights or additional uses must be requested from the agency in good time, ideally at least three months before expiry.

If recordings are reused without a valid extension, this is considered unauthorized use and may be subject to significantly higher buyouts than usual or contractual penalties . In such cases, any package prices or discounts shall also be forfeited.

Cancellation & Replacement

If a model is unable to work at short notice, for example due to illness, accident, or force majeure, the agency will endeavor to find a suitable replacement. No guarantee can be given in such cases, but a solution can often be found together with the partners involved, including replacements from the VSM agency network.

Safety On Set

The customer is responsible for ensuring that working conditions comply with the law and are safe, both in terms of organization and insurance.
